Alexandra, better known as @LaYogini started sharing the practice in 2013 at her Wellness Studio in Colombia. She is a certified Slow-Flow Vinyasa Teacher from YogaWorks New York, studied at the AeroYoga Institute in Madrid, and has a deep passion for soundhealing, mantras, crystalsand oracles.
Since then she has led dozens of Retreats to India, Bali, Spain, Morocco and Colombia as well as over 20 Yoga Teacher Trainings under Yoga Alliance.
She currently lives in North Carolina, mentoring Wellness Entrepreneurs who wish to expand their digital business.

We've designed a daily schedule to enrich your retreat experience, allowing you the freedom to engage at your own pace. While we offer a structure with sessions like morning meditations, yoga, and evening rituals, remember that each activity is an invitation, not an obligation.

The entire Beach Resort will be available for OUR RETREAT EXCLUSIVELY.
Gratuity is NOT included in the nightly rate. We suggest a minimum amount of $5 USD per night.
Any additional services not included in the above retreat fee like snacks, drinks, items souvenirs from the shop and spa services will be added to your personal balance, and can be paid at check OUT.
Guests should ideally arrive before 5pm on friday february 21st and schedule their departures in the afternoon of tuesday the 25th of february.
We will begin the Retreat with a welcome dinner at 6:00 pm on the 21st. Check out is at 11:00 am on the 25th. Keep this in mind when purchasing your air tickets.
The value of the retreat DOES NOT INCLUDE airfare, transportation to and from the Resort, Spa services, any additional foods and beverages outside of the daily menu, travel insurance and any activity not specified above.
Ideally, you will arrive at the Simón Bolívar airport in the city of Santa Marta, Madgalena (located about 90 minutes away from the hotel by car).
If coming from outside Colombia, a flight into Bogotá and an additional domestic Bogotá-Santa Marta flight would be ideal. We can help you coordinate transportation from the Santa Marta airport to Gitana del Mar, for which you will receive an email one week before the retreat with details.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
The $500.00 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you cancel your trip before October 1, 2024, you are eligible for an 80% refund.
If you cancel your trip before Novemvber 1, 2024, you are eligible for an 70% refund.
After this date ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. You will forfeit ALL money rendered.
This cancellation policy is strict and firm. We recommend that you purchase cancellation/travel insurance to protect your investment.
If there is a domestic calamity or incapacity, you can sell your spot to a friend so as not to lose your money.

Airport shuttle is NOT included in the package price. Estimated cost is $50.00 each direction. Information on how to reserve the shuttle will be sent in your confirmation email.
LOCATION OF THE RETREAT CENTER
The nearest airport to Gitana del Mar is located in the city of Santa Marta (SMR). However, some people choose to start their journey in Cartagena (CTG), which has an international airport and is a great option for spending one or two nights in the historic city.
You can also fly directly to Barranquilla (BAQ), which has direct international flights from Miami (MIA), Ft. Lauderdale (FLL), and Panama City (PTY). The road travel time between each of these cities and Gitana del Mar is as follows:
Santa Marta to Gitana del Mar - 1.5 hours (estimated car fare $60 USD)
Barranquilla to Gitana del Mar - 3 hours (estimated car fare $160 USD)
Cartagena to Gitana del Mar - 5 hours (estimated car fare $250 USD)
